The “Picture This: We Can End Poverty” photo contest was organised in early 2010 by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in partnership with Olympus Corporation and The Agence France-Presse Foundation and aimed to profile people in both developing and developed countries contributing to the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals in their local communities. Gallery One is a selection from these award-winning photographs.
