J. E. Williams, O.M.D. is the author of five books, including Light of the Andes, and many digital health programs including the best seller, The Complete Blood Test Blueprint. A pioneer in the field of personal wellness, patient-centered care, and integrative longevity medicine, Dr. Williams has been in clinical practice for more than thirty years with over 100,000 patient visits. He is also an ethnographer. Since 1967, when he lived with the Yupik people of St. Lawrence Island in the Bering Sea, Dr. Williams has lived with and conducted fieldwork among indigenous tribes. In the Peruvian Amazon, he works with the Shipibo people, and has worked with the Q’ero people of the Peruvian Andes since 2000. In 2010, he founded Ayniglobal, a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting indigenous culture, environment, and intellectual rights. He divides his time between his home on the Gulf of Mexico and fieldwork in the Peruvian Amazon and Andes, and where he teaches Earth-based wisdom and heart-centered spirituality.
