Austin R. Pick was born in North Carolina and has traveled widely while cultivating a commitment to contemplative practice and a love of the world’s wild places. Austin’s writing has appeared in The Arrow, The Stockholm Review of Literature, Epiphany, Tahoma Literary Review, Pleiades, Metazen, Adbusters Magazine and elsewhere. He holds a Master’s in Contemplative Religions from Naropa University, where he was a founding member of the Naropa Center for Psychedelic Studies.
