Natascha Rietdijk is a PhD researcher in philosophy at Tilburg University and a member of the Tilburg Center for Moral Philosophy, Epistemology and Philosophy of Science. Using insights from the ethics of manipulation and social epistemol- ogy, it describes the ways in which various contemporary socio-political practices influence relationships of epistemic trust. Her other research interests include political philosophy and moral psychology, especially issues relating to autonomy and authenticity.
